Handwoven Artist Tool Wraps for Makers, Creatives and Artists

I’ve just released a small collection of handwoven artist tool wraps, and I wanted to take a moment to share the thinking behind them.

As a maker myself, I’ve become aware of the quiet rituals that surround my creative work - setting up the workspace, brewing that special cuppa, laying out my tools. These moments, as part of the process, matter almost as much as the finished piece. Over time, I started noticing that while I put so much care into what I make, the tools that help me create were often stored in things that felt purely functional - a repurposed jar, an old shoe box, or in mass produced items that looked and felt ugly & impersonal.

I wanted to change that. I also wanted to find a way to use the offcuts and leftover pieces of precious handwoven fabric that remained after I had created a larger piece. These pieces of fabric were woven slowly & intuitively, and I wanted to honour that and not discard those remnant pieces.

And so I created the artist tool wrap.

They’re designed to hold brushes, pencils, crochet hooks, knitting needles or other small creative tools. Soft yet sturdy, practical yet expressive, they’re made for artists and makers who care about how things feel, how they’re made, and what they say about who we are.

This release includes three one-of-a-kind wraps, each with its own texture and colour story.

If you’re someone who values handmade, texture-rich objects and wants your tools to live in something that reflects your creative spirit, these wraps are now available in my shop.

Thank you, as always, for supporting slow making and thoughtful work. It means more than I can say.
