How to Wear Handwoven Clothing Without Going Full Boho - part 2

Part 1 was all about how to wear handwoven clothing if you are most comfortable with an all black wardrobe. In part 2 I look at how to introduce handwoven clothing into your wardrobe if you’re a jeans and t-shirt wearer.

Jeans and t-shirts are wardrobe staples for many people for good reason - they’re comfortable, uncomplicated and work for many occasions (perhaps dressed up with a jacket when necessary). But sometimes it’s nice to wear something a little different without sacrificing that easy, everyday feeling.

My handwoven top in denim blue is a great place to start. The colour is familiar, the shape is not that different from a boxy t-shirt. It remains comfortable and easy to wear.

With it’s relaxed shape, slightly cropped silhouette and softly fringed detailing, it brings texture and individuality to a familiar casual outfit. The blue tones make it easy to imagine with your favourite denim, while the handwoven fabric gives it a character all its own.

Wear it with jeans and sneakers for an easy daytime outfit, or try it with simple black trousers when you’re ready to change it up a little.

You don’t have to add statement jewellery, a colourful scarf or a collection of accessories. Let the top be the interesting part.

The styling formula: your fav jeans + a handwoven top + simple shoes.

Same easy outfit. A little more personality.
