M is for ...Mystery KAL & Madeline Tosh

I received some Madeline Tosh yarn from a destash a few weeks ago and love it! I haven't found the pattern I'm going to knit but I'm looking forward to working with it.

So, when I heard about the Stephen West Mystery KAL & somehow found myself signing up for it I decided to use Madeline Tosh Merino Light. Some googling didn't find me an Aussie seller, so I looked further afield, finally ordering from Eat.Sleep.Knit.

August 1 saw the first clue released so I cast on last knit & so far, so good. I'm loving the colours I chose (not too keen on intarsia, but coping).

From left to right:  cherry, gossamer, blackberry

Last time I looked there were over 1900 particpants in the Mystery KAL. Are you one of them?

I can't do a mystery KAL because I am too much of a visual person. When I get lost or the instructions just sound jumbled to me - it helps to pull up a photo of what the finished item is so I can decipher the pattern. I think the concept is fun but I know it would drive me buggers.

The yarn you chose is absolutely gorgeous - I can't wait to see what you create.

I love the colors. Since I'm on a semi yarn diet and don't have the yarn in my stash I'm not participating. Glad you mentioned intarsia because that's something I haven't done yet. It's on the bucket list.
